MMI Army ROTC Launches Patriot Pipeline with Additional Scholarships
Through the newly-designated Patriot Pipeline initiative, MMI Army ROTC now has a vehicle to offer more competitive financial incentives for 10 incoming college freshmen, nominated annually by the Alabama congressional delegation. Beginning in Fall 2026, in addition to their ROTC scholarship, those selected through MMI鈥檚 Patriot Pipeline will receive an MMI room & board scholarship.
In addition, all non-scholarship freshmen contracting into MMI鈥檚 Early Commissioning Program will be granted in-state tuition. All those having earned an ROTC scholarship will now receive tuition & fee deferment until contracting.
MMI鈥檚 Early Commissioning Program is only one of four in the nation offering this accelerated path to becoming an Army officer in just two years, upon earning an associate鈥檚 degree, instead of the traditional four. Through congressional outreach, LTC Hollingsworth, an Alabama native, aims to recruit more highly-competitive candidates to MMI Army ROTC from our state.
