This steam clock, Ariadne, was built to comemmorate its name-sake, one of the first steam ships to sail between England and the Channel Islands.

Every hour the clock 'fires up', the paddles turn, the water bubble while steam emits from the twin funnels.

Fun for the kids and its a short walk from St helier town, the Waterfront or Maritime Museum.
